MatrixQR is built with privacy at its core. This policy explains how we handle your information.
Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal data. MatrixQR operates entirely on your device. All QR code scanning, generation, and history storage happens locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
Device Permissions
MatrixQR requests the following permissions to provide its features:
- Camera: Used to scan QR codes. Camera data is processed on-device and never transmitted.
- Photo Library: Used to save generated QR codes and scan QR codes from images. Access is only used when you explicitly choose to save or import.
- Calendar: Used only when you choose to add calendar events from scanned QR codes. We do not read or access your existing calendar data.
Data Storage
Your scan history and generated QR codes are stored locally on your device. This data is never uploaded to any server. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed.
Third-Party Services
MatrixQR uses RevenueCat to process in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect anonymous transaction data as described in their privacy policy. We do not share any personal information with RevenueCat beyond what is necessary to process your subscription.
Children's Privacy
MatrixQR does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Since we do not collect personal data from any users, there is no risk of inadvertently collecting children's data.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
